Now that we own Trull Meadow, our intention is to hold and protect it in perpetuity for the recreational use of the village of Trull and those living outside the village who also enjoy its amenity value.

The meadow will stay exactly as it is with footpaths and other access being maintained for the benefit of the community. There may be additional wildflower planting and every encouragement will be given to encourage wildlife, but the emphasis will be on preserving what we already have.

In May 2025 we commissioned an ecological survey from Somerset Wildlife Trust which Bryony Slater expanded on in her presentation at our June social evening

We would like to encourage the local community to help us look after the meadow and suggest ways in which it can be improved. If you have ideas and would like to help, please join the Friends of Trull Meadow.

The generosity of the village through gifts and loans enabled us to buy the meadow. but we still need an income in order to finance essential maintenance, insurance and the weekly emptying of the litter bin,  so we would greatly appreciate any financial contribution you are able to make to allow us to do that.
